Duke Energy replaced ten cobrahead roadway lights in the northern section (Phase 1) of the Highland Park Neighborhood today. New, energy efficient 70-watt or 72-watt LED light fixtures now take the place of the previous amber-hued high-pressure sodium ones. Additional light replacement of roadway fixtures in Phase 2 is scheduled for later this year. Updates, when available, will be posted on the Highland Park website and provided in the newsletter.
